Privacy policy

This is a plain-language summary of how Vietnam Wayfarer handles your data. We try to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Analytics— aggregated, anonymous page-view data (which articles people read) via privacy-friendly analytics. No personal identification.
• Newsletter signups— if you subscribe, we store your email address and use it only to send the newsletter. We never sell or share it.
• Affiliate clicks— when you click an affiliate link, we log the click in aggregate (date, which article it came from). The destination merchant collects their own data per their own policy.

What we don't do

• Sell your data
• Track you across other sites
• Build personal profiles for advertising

Third-party services

Display ads (AdSense / Mediavine in future), affiliate links, and embedded content (e.g. YouTube) load resources from third parties that may set their own cookies. Their privacy policies apply to that data.

Your rights

You can request deletion of any personal data we hold (basically your newsletter subscription) by emailing hello@vietnamwayfarer.com.
