在越南,给主人家带一份礼物,或是递给新同事一件小礼品,看似简单,实则大有讲究。如果细节处理不当,一份充满心意的礼物可能会被解读为粗心甚至不吉利;但如果做对了,你将收获那种无法用旅游闲聊换来的真诚热情。

什么礼物最合适

水果、好茶和进口零食在几乎所有场合都是安全的选择——一盒来自知名品牌的高品质绿茶(预算约 150,000–300,000 VND)既显得用心,又不会显得过于隆重。在拜访家庭时,进口巧克力、西式饼干或一瓶中档葡萄酒(本地或进口)也都很受欢迎。

如果你是去参加乔迁宴或第一次拜访对方父母,送水果篮几乎永远不会出错。记得在正规商店挑选包装精美的礼盒,而不是路边摊随意拼凑的果篮——在越南,礼物的呈现方式非常重要。

对于同事或商务伙伴,食品类礼物依然是最稳妥的选择。来自你家乡的特色产品效果尤佳,因为这些东西在当地不容易买到。一袋家乡的好咖啡、当地糖果或特色饼干,往往会被拆开分享并给人留下深刻印象。

避开这些禁忌

有几类礼物带有深厚的文化含义,在购物前务必了解。

钟表:与“送终”的谐音相关,象征着生命的倒计时。这是葬礼上才会送的东西,绝不能作为生日礼物。请彻底避开。

鞋子:暗示你希望对方“走开”,这对于一段新建立的友谊来说不是个好兆头。

手帕:在越南习俗中与悲伤和葬礼有关。同样的逻辑也适用于黑色包装的礼物——请将哑光黑色包装留作他用。

尖锐物品:如刀具、剪刀,暗示你要“切断”这段关系。如果对方确实需要一套刀具,而你又想送,有一个变通办法:让对方给你一枚小硬币(1,000 VND 即可),这样在名义上他们就“买”下了这件礼物。

数字 4 的禁忌

避免送 4 件一组的礼物。越南语中的数字 4(bon)听起来与“死”(chet)非常接近,会让人感到不适。这同样适用于成套的物品:四罐、四瓶或四件水果摆在一起都不行。请选择六、八或十件。数字 8 象征着繁荣,因此是礼品数量的热门选择。

红包习俗

如果你在“Tet”(越南春节)期间身处越南,你会遇到“li xi”(利是/红包)传统。长辈会给晚辈、未婚的年轻亲戚或员工发放装有现金的红包。里面的金额多少并不重要,重要的是心意;作为外国访客,每个孩子 50,000–100,000 VND 是一个合理的金额。

在春节前几周,文具店和便利店会大量出售红包,通常每个售价约 5,000–10,000 VND。越南人非常看重崭新的纸币,人们通常会在一月份专门去银行换取新钞。如果往红包里塞一张皱巴巴的旧钞,会显得有些失礼。

春节之外,红包也出现在婚礼上。如果你作为外国客人受邀参加越南婚礼,红包现金是预期的礼物,而不是礼品登记册上的物品或包装好的礼物。对于商务往来的朋友,500,000–700,000 VND 是合理的金额;关系更亲近的朋友则可以多给一些,有时会达到 1,000,000 VND 或以上,这部分也包含了你参加婚宴的餐费。

何时送礼,何时不必

第一次拜访他人家中时,带上一份小礼物总是得体的。如果受邀参加家庭晚宴(而非非正式的顺道拜访),千万不要空手而去。

在春节期间,送礼非常普遍。新年前几天拜访任何人家,带上礼物都是应有的礼节。水果、优质的 bánh(甜点和糕点)或进口商品都是不错的选择。

“Tet Trung Thu”(中秋节)是另一个送礼时机,尤其是对于有孩子的家庭。月饼是标准礼物;在中秋节前的几周,每家超市和专卖店都会摆满售价在 200,000–800,000 VND 之间的精美月饼礼盒。

对于日常的商务关系,没有固定的送礼时间表。如果你刚从国外出差回来,给同事带一些家乡的特产是一种常见且受人欢迎的举动——这被称为 qua(纪念品),要求不高:一袋糖果、一盒饼干即可,无需过于奢华。

礼物如何被接收

这一点会让许多西方人感到惊讶:越南人通常不会在送礼者面前立即拆开礼物。将礼物放在一边稍后再拆是礼貌的表现,而非粗鲁——这可以避免如果礼物不合心意而产生的尴尬,并让聚会的焦点保持在交流本身,而不是礼物上。不要对此过度解读。如果有人把你精心包装的礼物放在架子上并继续与你聊天,这是一个好迹象。

包装很重要。鲜艳的颜色——红色、金色、粉色——被视为喜庆。白色和黑色则用于哀悼场合。如果你在店里购买预先包装好的商品,店员通常会给你正确的建议,但最好还是再确认一下。

总结

一旦掌握了其中的逻辑,越南的送礼文化并不复杂:核心在于祈求好运与长寿,避开与死亡和分离相关的联想。如果有疑问,水果、好茶或家乡特产永远不会出错。带上一份用心的礼物,其心意远比价格标签重要。
