中午是喝洋蓟茶最不合适的时机。Da Lat的午餐文化偏向于Hoang Van Thu和中心市场区域的米饭套餐和烤肉。洋蓟茶口感清淡且温热;它与油腻的食物搭配并不协调,大多数人会觉得在吃饱猪肉后,茶的苦味会被放大。如果你想在中午喝点什么,从Phan Dinh Phung的咖啡馆买一杯冰的“ca phe sua da”会更适合当下的食物和午后升高的气温。
专门经营Tra atiso的摊位在午餐时间往往也会放慢节奏——店主们在吃饭,游客流量也减少了。不值得为了喝茶专门安排午餐时间。

下午2:30到5:00是最佳窗口期。此时你可能已经逛完了爱情谷(Valley of Love)或花卉公园,气温已经回落,一壶热茶既能驱散寒意,又不会与正餐产生冲突。
Da Lat夜市区域(Nguyen Thi Minh Khai,一直延伸到中心湖)从下午4:00左右开始布置。这里的几个摊位除了卖洋蓟茶,还卖洋蓟果酱(mut atiso)和蜜饯洋蓟心。果酱值得购买——它浓稠、香甜,涂在面包上很好吃,或者用热水冲泡作为散茶的替代品。价格:一小罐50,000–80,000 VND。

夜市大约从晚上6:00持续到10:30。洋蓟茶在这里随处可见,环境让它显得更有节日气氛。这是一种合理的睡前饮品:没有咖啡因,低糖,睡前饮用对胃负担小。Da Lat夜晚的寒冷(在11月至2月的凉爽月份通常为12–16°C)让一杯热茶显得格外贴心。
没必要为了喝它专门跑一趟,但如果你已经在逛夜市摊位,有人为你提供一杯10,000 VND的热茶,完全没有理由拒绝。

Da Lat的干洋蓟是值得大量购买的特产。在Nguyen Thi Minh Khai的任何一家店买一袋,不要在机场买,机场同样的产品价格要贵两到三倍。在家冲泡时,将15–20克干洋蓟片放入一升水中煮20分钟即可。密封袋装可保存数月。
大多数洋蓟茶摊位和店铺都聚集在距离Da Lat中心市场500米范围内——从Bui Thi Xuan和Truong Cong Dinh的主要旅馆步行即可轻松到达。早晨和傍晚是最佳时间;避开午间时段。如果你将Da Lat作为中部高原环线旅行的一部分,这是极少数具有当地特色、值得花十分钟去寻找正宗货源而非机场替代品的特产之一。
