最稳定的美味通常聚集在市中心附近的Phan Dinh Phung街和Nguyen Cong Tru街,以及Bui Thi Xuan街沿线的老式店屋中。
位于Bui Thi Xuan街的Quan Lau Ga La E Ba Huong(大约在与Tang Bat Ho街交汇路口的对面)自21世纪初就开始营业,平日晚上大多是当地食客。双人份火锅的价格约为150,000–180,000 VND,具体取决于鸡肉的分量。他们下午4:30左右开门,最好的部位(特别是脖子和鸡翅)通常在晚上8点前就会售罄,所以早点去是值得的。
位于Nguyen Thi Minh Khai街靠近Xuan Huong湖一端的Lau Ga 1981则较新,对游客更友好,双人份火锅价格在200,000–220,000 VND左右。这里的汤底稍微浓郁一些,除了传统的La E篮,他们还提供一份额外的空心菜(rau muong)和干香菇(nam huong)作为搭配。

这是大多数初次尝试者常犯的错误:只点火锅而不点其他,吃得太快,错过了火锅应有的节奏。
大多数Lau Ga La E店的标配是一篮“banh trang”(米纸)和一盘细的bun(圆米粉)。你应该交替食用——有时把米粉放入碗中淋上汤汁,有时用湿润的米纸包裹一块鸡肉和一片La E叶,蘸上nuoc cham(鱼露蘸料)。两种吃法都很棒。如果是多人聚餐,建议多加一份bun而不是banh trang;因为在火锅后期汤底浓缩时,米粉吸收汤汁的效果更好。
Ga nuong muoi ot——盐焗烤鸡——是除了火锅外最值得点的菜。它上菜快,常温食用,在火锅煮开前正好可以垫垫肚子。大多数店的价格:半只鸡60,000–80,000 VND。
Nom ga bap cai——用青柠和鱼露调味的鸡丝卷心菜沙拉——在喝汤间隙可以起到清口的作用,酸味非常解腻。有些店会用青芒果丝代替卷心菜,两种版本都很不错。
如果店里提供nem ran(炸春卷)作为前菜,建议跳过。它们通常是预先冷冻的,与这种草本风味浓郁的火锅搭配显得格格不入。
Bia hoi(鲜啤)是当地店里的默认选择,330毫升一杯仅需10,000–15,000 VND。如果你在稍微精致一点的餐厅,Da Lat红酒(当地的Vang Da Lat品牌)与汤底中的八角香气非常契合,一瓶价格约为80,000–100,000 VND。尽量不要在用餐中途点越南咖啡,留到餐后再享用吧。

Da Lat的大多数Lau Ga La E餐厅只在晚餐时段营业,下午4点到5点开门,卖完即止——平日晚上9:30左右基本就关门了,周末会更早。请准备现金,老字号家庭店很少支持刷卡。两人份的完整晚餐,包含配菜和啤酒,总价大约在300,000–380,000 VND左右。
