Mam Xoi——字面意思是“糯米包”——是当地人给 La Pan Tan 公社一座小山起的名字。这里的梯田呈同心圆状向下盘旋,看起来就像盘子里盛着的一堆“xoi”(糯米饭)。它位于海拔约 1,000 米的 Mu Cang Chai 县,现在是扩建后的 Lao Cai 省的一部分(在 2025 年 Yen Bai 并入 Lao Cai 之后)。这里的梯田是 Hmong 农民世代开垦的更广阔梯田网络的一部分——自 2007 年起被认定为国家遗产景观。

Mam Xoi 是越南(베트남 / 越南 / ベトナム)北部少数几个能让你瞬间感受到梯田农业宏大规模的地方之一。与梯田散布在宽广山谷中且常年云雾缭绕的 Sapa 不同,Mam Xoi 将这种视觉冲击力集中在一个由优美曲线构成的圆形剧场般的山谷中。你可以站在高处俯瞰全貌——无需徒步跋涉即可饱览美景。

有两个绝佳的时间段:
尽量避开 11 月到次年 3 月——此时梯田只剩下光秃秃的褐色泥土,而且大雾可能会笼罩数日。7 月至 8 月虽然满眼翠绿,但水稻还不够壮观,且午后几乎必定会下雨。
最常见的路线是 Hanoi → Mu Cang Chai,走 32 号国道,途经 Nghia Lo。总距离:约 280 km。如果骑摩托车,加上中途休息时间,预计需要 7–8 小时。自驾或包车则需 6–7 小时。
没有直达 Mam Xoi 的巴士。夜间巴士从 Hanoi(하노이 / 河内 / ハノイ)的 My Dinh 车站开往 Mu Cang Chai 镇(票价约 200,000–250,000 VND),傍晚出发,清晨抵达。从镇中心向南 15 km 即可到达 Mam Xoi 观景台——你需要租一辆摩托车(当地租金为 150,000–200,000 VND/天)或叫一辆“xe om”(摩托车出租)。
自从省份合并后,Mu Cang Chai 和 Sapa(사파 / 沙坝 / サパ)现在属于同一个省,但两地之间的路程依然漫长——大约 180 km,需要翻越山岭,途经 Thanh Kim 或走 Than Uyen 路线。骑摩托车需要 5–6 小时。这段路风景优美但路况险峻;切勿在雨天或天黑后尝试骑行。
从 Mu Cang Chai 镇出发,沿 32 号公路向南前往 La Pan Tan。Mam Xoi 观景台设有路标。走上一段短短的混凝土阶梯(约 200 级台阶)即可到达主观景平台。门票:20,000 VND。

Mu Cang Chai 镇的主干道旁有几家“com pho”店——供应碟头饭、pho(河粉)和“bun”(米粉),价格在 30,000–50,000 VND 之间。虽然不豪华,但能填饱肚子。
