    Men Men究竟是什么

    Men men由干玉米磨成粗粉制成,经过蒸制(有时会蒸两次),直到形成一种松散、略带粘性的团块。其口感介于玉米糊(polenta)和北非小米(couscous)之间。单独吃时,它带有泥土的清香且味道温和。它的精髓在于搭配的汤汁:浇上一勺清淡的猪肉汤或蔬菜汤,或者搭配一份慢炖芥菜肥猪肉。它有着山区食物特有的饱腹感——没有花哨的装饰,也不需要任何修饰。

    在赫蒙族家庭中,这是早餐、午餐,有时也是晚餐。它也是支撑着在海拔1500米以上梯田劳作的农民的能量来源。当你品尝它时,这种背景显得尤为重要。

    在Sapa寻找它的现实情况

    直截了当地说:men men并没有进入镇上的主流餐饮圈。Cau May街和教堂广场周围的餐厅都不供应它。你最好的选择分为两类——村庄边缘的一些半正式小摊,以及仅在早午餐时间营业的家庭式小店。

    价格很便宜。每人一碗带汤的men men大约只需25,000–40,000 VND,如果包含炖猪肉,价格会稍高一些。这还不是一道针对游客涨价的菜肴。

    Cat Cat村 — 仅限上午

    Cat Cat村位于Sapa镇中心西南约2公里处。步行下山需要20–30分钟。在村庄入口附近,穿过第一批纪念品摊位,几位赫蒙族妇女从早上6:30到上午11点左右会在自家露台上经营小吃摊。Men men是这里的主打。寻找蓝色的塑料凳和大型铝制蒸锅。这里没有英文招牌。直接指着点餐然后坐下即可——她们已经习惯了偶尔出现的好奇游客。

    如果你带着年幼的孩子,炖菜版本(芥菜猪肉浇在men men上)比单纯的清汤版本更适合小胃口,因为清汤版本单独吃可能会觉得太淡。一份大约30,000 VND。

    Lao Chai和Ta Van — 更深入的体验

    对于更远一点的行程——距离Sapa镇约8公里,可以通过摩的到达,或作为山谷徒步的一部分——Lao Chai和Ta Van村有一些家庭式小店,为路过的徒步者和当地人提供men men。Lao Chai社区中心(主道上那个带铁皮屋顶的长方形建筑)附近的小店通常在上午7点到下午1点之间营业。这里有几户人家能说足够的英语来解释锅里煮的是什么。

    如果你已经计划了山谷一日游,这是一个更好的选择。可以将它与沿着Muong Hoa溪流的徒步结合起来——只要穿着合适的鞋子,六岁以上的孩子完全可以完成往返行程。

    Sapa市场 — 周六和周日

    Sapa市中心的周末市场(位于Ngu Chi Son街,大约早上6点开放)偶尔会有赫蒙族摊贩在带盖的篮子里售卖men men,旁边还有玉米酒和干草药。虽然它不如村庄里的选择稳定,但如果你在周末的早晨在镇上,值得去市场内部的过道逛逛,穿过服装摊位。这里的价格通常为每份20,000–25,000 VND。

    带孩子用餐的小贴士

    Men men天然不含麸质(纯玉米),通常也不含乳制品。汤汁版本可能会比较咸,所以如果带着很小的孩子,可以要求把汤单独放在一边。这道菜是温热供应的,不会烫嘴,这让小食客们更容易接受。记得带上纸巾——这是一种需要动手吃的食物,而且松散的质地容易掉得到处都是。

    Sapa海拔较高,即使在夏天早晨也很冷,所以在村庄徒步前吃上一碗热腾腾的men men是非常实用的,而不仅仅是为了体验文化。

    实用提示

    Men men是早餐和午餐食物——不要指望在晚上出门时能找到它。Cat Cat和Lao Chai的村庄摊位需要早起前往。请准备小面额现金(10,000和20,000 VND纸币),因为在非正式摊位找零可能会比较麻烦。
