    为什么当地人总是喝它

    其中的逻辑很实用。茶有助于消化,尤其是在吃了一顿丰盛的大餐之后。它的供应成本极低,对餐厅来说几乎不需要花什么钱。在炎热潮湿的环境中,它能帮你补充水分。它是咸味、油炸或油腻食物的绝佳中和剂。在越南人的餐桌上,你不会看到有人要水喝;他们只会要更多的 Tra da。

    到了下午,当阳光最毒辣的时候,你会看到街头小贩和建筑工人从一个共享的水壶里倒茶续杯。这是一种具有社区共享性质的饮品——虽然不像“egg coffee”(鸡蛋咖啡)或 Vietnamese coffee(越南咖啡)文化那样充满仪式感,但它已经融入了日常生活的肌理之中,这是不含咖啡因的白开水永远无法做到的。

    Tra da chanh 是加入了新鲜青柠汁的 Tra da,有时还会加一小撮糖。它的口感更明快,草本味较弱,通常作为一种单点饮品而不是佐餐饮品——你可以把它看作是冰茶界的“banh mi”(越式法棍):无处不在,但又独具特色,值得你专门点名品尝。

    Tra thanh(凉茶/草本茶)可以指从菊花茶到罗汉果等清凉草药混合物的任何茶饮。在夏天,清凉的茶饮被当作“解暑”饮品来推销。在 Saigon (사이공 / 西贡 / サイゴン) 的老式法式咖啡馆里,你可能会得到一壶茉莉花茶叶和一壶热水——让你自助冲泡,这更接近中国茶文化。

    你在便利店也会看到品牌瓶装版(如 Tra Xanh,或 Tan Phat 的包装茶),但这些通常是在你不打算坐下来吃饭时买的。真正的 Tra da 是餐厅用保温瓶泡出来的那种。

    在咖啡馆,或者如果你把它当成单点饮品而不是佐餐饮品来点,你可以要求加糖(“tra da duong”)或不加糖(“tra da khong duong”)。价格通常在 5,000–15,000 VND 之间,具体取决于场所。

    喝这种茶没有任何仪式感。你不需要慢慢品尝。你只需在吃东西的间隙喝上几口,让它帮你舒缓肠胃,喝完再续杯。它的作用非常纯粹,就是为了实用。

    它不适用的场合

    在正式的晚宴或婚礼上,你可能会喝到用精致茶杯盛装的热茶,通常在用餐接近尾声时提供。Tra da 则是属于日常的——路边摊、休闲午餐、大汗淋漓的下午。在咖啡馆里,如果你打算边喝边工作消磨时间,你更有可能点一杯 Vietnamese coffee (베트남 커피 / 越南咖啡 / ベトナムコーヒー)、egg coffee 或冰沙。

    但即便如此,Tra da 通常也近在咫尺。许多咖啡馆的边桌上都会放着一壶 Tra da,供你随时取用。

    实用提示

    如果你在越南旅行并坐下来吃饭,默认 Tra da 是免费提供的。这是那种外国人通常要待上一段时间才能察觉到的无形礼遇。不要不好意思要求续杯,如果你想换换口味,也可以点一杯“tra da chanh”。这种茶不会给你带来什么意外的惊喜——它的存在就是为了帮你消化和解暑。这就是它的全部意义。
