Nha Tho Da Sapa——玫瑰圣母堂,或简称"石教堂"——坐落于Sapa镇的正中心,正面朝向主广场。教堂由法国传教士建于1926年至1935年间,是西北高原地区少数历经两次战争与数十年荒废后仍保存较为完好的殖民时期建筑之一。墙体由当地花岗岩切割而成,"nha tho da"(石教堂)的名称也由此而来。钟楼高约20米,天气晴朗时,站在山谷对面半途便能望见它的身影。
教堂至今仍是一座正常运作的天主教堂。每逢周日举行弥撒,周边村落的苗族和瑶族教众常常徒步前来参加礼拜。这里不是博物馆,而是一座拥有真实会众、持续运转的宗教场所。
说实话,原因有三:
它是Sapa镇的地理核心。 教堂前的广场是周六夜市的举办地,是旅行团的集合点,也是大多数步行路线的起点。不管你有没有计划专程来这里,都会经过它好几次。
这座建筑在当地颇为独特。 一座罗马式风格的石制教堂屹立在海拔1600米的高原上,四周是苗族集市摊位和云雾缭绕的山峦——这番景象本身就极具视觉冲击力,浑然天成,毫不刻意。
它是绝佳的方向参照点。 教堂广场连接着Ham Rong山步道(沿路上坡300米)、主要集市街道(Cau May)以及通往Cat Cat村的下坡小路。
教堂全年开放,随时可见,但若想拍出好照片或感受不同氛围,时机同样重要:
