    Can Tho 的 "banh xeo"(越南煎饼)可不是你在 Saigon 吃到的那种小巧半月形薄饼。在湄公河三角洲,这种煎饼足有餐盘大小,对折后几乎占满整个托盘,旁边还会配上一大堆香草,仿佛把整个菜园都搬到了桌上。如果你是带孩子或结伴旅行,这是在城里最轻松、最令人满足的用餐选择之一。

    西部风味 Banh Xeo 的独特之处

    “西部风味 Banh Xeo”——有时也称为“banh xeo mien Tay”(湄公河三角洲风味)——指的是在三角洲各省广受欢迎的超大尺寸煎饼。面糊由米粉、椰奶和姜黄制成,倒入大锅或平底锅中煎至边缘卷曲酥脆。内馅包括鲜虾、五花肉片、绿豆芽和少许煮熟的绿豆。面糊中的椰奶赋予了它一种越南中部版本所没有的淡淡甜味。

    对于家庭食客来说,这种开放式布局非常实用——孩子们可以自由活动,嘈杂的环境也意味着即使孩子闹腾也不会造成困扰。

    Ngo Gia Tu 街的 Quan Banh Xeo Mien Tay

    位于 Ngo Gia Tu 街的一家餐厅环境稍显精致,距离 Ninh Kieu 码头约 1.2 公里。这里有吊扇、明亮的灯光,还有越南语和基础英语对照的菜单——如果你带着孩子,想直接指着菜单点菜而不是靠猜,这里非常方便。这里的 banh xeo 每份售价 60,000–70,000 VND。他们还提供 "goi cuon"(鲜虾春卷)作为前菜,等待主菜时点上一份非常值得。每天营业时间为上午 10 点至晚上 9 点,几乎没有休息时段。

    Cai Rang 附近的晨间美味

    如果你计划前往 Cai Rang 水上市场(距离 Can Tho 市中心约 6 公里),沿岸公路边有一些家庭经营的小摊,从早上 7:30 开始供应 banh xeo,专门招待逛完市场的游客。这些摊位没有招牌,只收现金——你可以循着滋滋作响的煎饼声和姜黄香气找到它们。这里的价格降至 35,000–40,000 VND 左右。煎饼比正宗的西部风味稍微小一点,但那种坐在河边看着船只往来穿梭的用餐氛围,足以弥补这一点。

    家庭出行的小贴士

    Can Tho 的大多数 banh xeo 店最适合在午餐(中午之前)或晚餐(晚上 6:30 之前)时段前往——过了这些时段,热门店铺可能会用完鲜虾或提前打烊。请准备好小额钞票;在街头小店使用 500,000 VND 的大钞可能会找零困难。如果你的同伴不吃猪肉,通常可以要求只加虾馅——说“khong thit heo”即可,大多数厨房都会照做且不会额外收费。
